I'm truthfully a bit disappointed that he felt the need to lie to her again. I was hoping that he'd talk about a "past life" or share the voice recording with her. He's doing the exact same thing he did in his past life where he's so focused on doing XYZ for his loved one that he misses out on actually BEING there with his loved one. Rather than taking on the challenges together, he'd rather play solo and leave his person neglected.
